This presentation was Part of my Master's Thesis L.I.V.E Agriculture : A call for Urban Farming in Philadelphia. My research partner and I developed plans for an Urban Agriculture network that would address food disparities in the under-served neighborhood of Kensington Philadelphia. The program would introduced a system of urban farms, green spaces and Sustainable Education Lab's (SELS) in a food desert.
This graphic analyses highlights the proximity of stores that sell fresh produce, access to public transportation and proposed locations for the initial farms and green spaces. It also demonstrates the trajectory for expansion of the LIVE network in the community..
