ABOUT

    Amma Otubea Asamoah is a sustainable and architectural designer who who expresses her deep love of community and heritage through design. The Philadelphia native who claims Ghana as her, "fatherland", gathers inspiration from her travels abroad to Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, and her love of, "dope" music

 

     Amma is a  proud alumna of Tuskegee Universities Robert R. Taylor School of Architecture and Construction Science and Philadelphia Universities M.S. Sustainable Design Program. She has designed for clients nationally and internationally. She's also presented her research in sustainable development and corporate social responsibility at the Annual National Organization of Minority Architect conference,New York and Tuskegee Universities

 

    In 2018, the multifaceted mother of four embarked on a new venture and  developed a line of  home decor and textile prints inspired by her culture and travels. Amma continues to work as a consultant for NGO's and CDC's. She is dedicated to improving the quality of life for her children and generations to come through environmentalism, social equity and culturally relevant design.
