Flo Creative is an integrated design studio that pairs contemporary style with global culture. We provide services in interior design, preliminary architectural design, and brand identity. We also design and produce African inspired decor items from authentic globally sourced textiles.

 

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Amma Asamoah's eclectic style and vibrant personality make her a fresh standout talent in interiors, home decor, and fashion design. She is the founder and director of Flo Creative, a  brand that fuses authentic global textiles and patterns with sustainable design practices.  The Philadelphia native who claims Ghana as her, "fatherland", gathers inspiration from her travels abroad to Africa, the Carribean, Europe, and her love of, "dope" music

 

A proud Alumna of Tuskegee University's Robert R. Taylor School of Architecture and Construction Science and Philadelphia Universities M.S. Sustainable Design Program, Amma has designed for clients nationally and internationally. She's also presented her research in sustainable development and corporate social responsibility at the Annual National Organization of Minority Architect conference and New York University.

 

Currently, the multifaceted mother of four is developing a line of textile prints reflective of her heritage and travels. Her premiere home decor line will launch in the summer 0f 2018. Follow her journey of life, culture, and design on social media.
